Woodl observed how people were using everyday objects such as furniture in unconventional ways, transforming and personalizing the use of the object. These thoughtless acts became the inspiration of the collection of accessories, which ‘freezes’ these unconventional actions. The collection is about the communication between people and objects and challenges the ordinary furniture/object and the initial way designers have created them. The work is also intended to make you look differently at these ordinary objects we encounter throughout our everyday life. As a collective, the accessories act as minor interventions – ‘tweaks’ on the objects and furniture - that occupy interior space, triggering a new ‘spatial’ reading slightly removed from convention.

COLLECTION
The collection of accessories uses two organic and untreated materials, namely wool and wood, therefore the collection is called Woodl. Woodl chose these two materials because they are natural, it is easy to relate to them and they make us feel comfortable. The Woodl collection exists out of three accessory lines: the chair line, the table line and the object line.
